June 2, 2016– General Mills announced a voluntary recall involving select flavors of Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bars and Nature Valley Simple Nut Bars.

The recall is being issued due to the expansion of the SunOpta sunflower kernel recall for the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

All date codes of the products listed below are included in this recall. No other Nature Valley Bars are included in this recall.

Only the flavors listed below contain product that was produced from ingredients that were included in SunOpta’s recall.
