Q: What are your store hours?

A: Most WinCo Foods locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; only closing on part of Thanksgiving, part of Christmas Eve and all of Christmas Day. Waremart by WinCo stores in Independence, Ontario, and Keizer Oregon are proud to serve the community 7 days a week between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., also closing on the days listed above. A: Throughout our stores you'll find our every day low prices marked with yellow price tags and our sale items marked with green price tags (Extra Savings). A: Yes! Simply visit the store a minimum of 3 days before you need your order; we will special order it for you, set it aside and call you once it arrives at your store. For large orders of grocery items, please visit us at the Customer Service desk located at the front of the store; for large Bulk Foods, Bakery, Pizza, Produce, Meat or Deli orders; please visit each respective department. *Because our prices are already as low as possible, we are not able to provide a price break on special orders.

Q: Do you have electric carts available for persons who have a disability, are elderly or injured customers?

A: Yes, we want every single one of our visitors to have an enjoyable and comfortable shopping experience, that is why we are proud to provide an average of three electric carts* at each of our WinCo stores. These carts are available on a first come, first serve basis and can be found at the entrance or Customer Service areas. *Actual number of carts available may vary depending on store size, repairs, maintenance, etc. At select locations we ask that carts do not leave the store. This is so we can ensure that everyone that needs them continues to have access to them.

A: Yes, the majority of our stores gladly welcomes WIC and EBT (Food Stamps) transactions as forms of payment. In some cases, new stores may take some time to get certified.approved by the state before being able to accept WIC. If you are visiting a recently-opened WinCo Foods store, please feel free to call Customer Service, at your local store to confirm acceptance.

A: Due to weight of the container and cross contamination issues, WinCo Foods does not approve the use of consumer-owned containers brought into the store for refilling. This policy extends to all store departments and all food products with the exception of the refilling of water containers that are returned to the store for refilling with water.

Q: What is your coupon policy?

A: WinCo Foods gladly accepts manufacturers' coupons where all the following apply:

  1. The coupon has a valid barcode that can be scanned into our system
  2. The item is in stock
  3. Restrictions and requirements listed on the coupon are met. This includes but is not limited to: quantities (minimum required and maximum allowed), sizes, brand names, product variety, expiration dates, and store location.
  4. The coupon(s) is not a result of coupon “stacking,” “doubling,” etc. (*1* coupon per item limit)

WinCo Foods Coupon Policy

Q: How should I print my coupons for best results?

A: For best results please print in color and use the highest/photo setting on your printer. Please be aware that all coupons must scan in order for your local store to accept them. We recommend that you please allow ink to fully dry and if possible not handle coupon around the barcode(s). Smeared ink or folded barcodes may result in a coupon not scanning and being rejected. Black and White coupons may give the impression of photocopied coupons, therefore we recommend printing in color. *WinCo Foods reserves the right to limit quantities and/or deny any coupon at any time.

Q: What does mass-cut coupons mean?

A: The term mass-cut refers to the act of taking a large amount of coupon inserts or printed pages, stacking them together and cutting them at once, usually with a paper cutter. Coupon clearing houses may not and usually do not redeem a retailer for any coupons deemed to be mass-cut, this is because it is a characteristic of most coupons obtained through coupon clipping services. Deeming a set of coupons to be mass-cut is up to each store's discretion.

Q: What should I expect when attempting to pay with a check at WinCo Foods or when requesting to cash a payroll check?

Please note that acceptance or cashing of a check is not guaranteed and may require management review. In addition to the following general guidelines, please refer to your local store for any local policies that may be in effect.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid State Driver’s License with picture ID and address that matches the address on the personal check or passport, or another acceptable form of identification as determined by store management.
  • Military ID, Valid Passport Card, or Native American ID accepted with additional valid form of identification.
  • Every check, including payroll, MUST have your address and phone number on it. Your address on your picture ID MUST match the address on your check unless otherwise approved by store manager.
  • Check Limit –Amount of purchase, plus cash back determined and approved by store management.
  • All return checks will be service charged up to the maximum service fee, permitted by law, each time it is returned by the bank and your identification may be removed from our computer with the loss of your check cashing privileges.

If it meets all general and local requirements and review, your check is welcome upon your authorization that if your check is returned unpaid, we use information from your check to make a one-time electronic funds transfer from your account OR to process the payment as a check transaction.
