WinCo Foods donates to fundraisers for state-accredited schools in the communities of our retail store locations. All requests for corporate donations must be made through this portal for evaluation. Due to the large number of proposals received, we do not accept donation requests via any other method. Due to the volume of requests, WinCo Foods does not respond to inquiries or accept phone calls regarding eligibility or funding decisions.

To be eligible for a donation, the request must be made:

• For school fundraisers
• For schools located in the communities of our retail store locations
• At least four (4) weeks prior to the date of the fundraiser, so that we can have enough time to see if it fits our budget (requests submitted outside of this time frame will not be considered).
• No more than six (6) weeks away from today's date, to avoid donations being lost if granted.

You will need the following information for the on-line donation request:

• Name, address, phone number, and url website address for the school requesting the donation
• Name, address, phone number, and email address for the person in charge of the event
• Exact date and description of the fundraiser.
• An electronic copy of the request on the school’s letterhead, with the above information, and the location of the WinCo store closest to the school, number of persons expected to attend the fundraiser, and the number of students in the program. File must be under 2 MB in size.
• Inform the school's administrative staff of your donation request - if a donation is granted, it is mailed directly to the school, addressed to the applicant. Do not submit donations for dates when school is not in session. Donations are not mailed to residences. Returned donations will be considered forfeited.
• Understand that WinCo Foods does not provide individual status updates on applications due to volume and resources available.
• Understand that via this application, WinCo exclusively considers donation requests for school fundraising events, not for general fundraising. For example, a request for a pancake breakfast, where if WinCo donates, our donation would be used to help the school raise funds - this request would be considered, but a general fund-raising request where the ask is for a donation not tied to a fund-raising event would not be considered.
